MAP: Growing Ambition In the Heart Of Leeds
We visited MAP in October and checked out one of their many pioneering projects: growing fresh green vegetables in the heart of the city. Access to fresh food in growing urban populations is vital to the sucess of the city. If the charity is successful in its bid to buy Hope foundry – it may one day follow in the footsteps of sucessful indoor farmers such as MiniCrops or GrowBristol – all whilst teaching its students about the growing market for locally grown produce.

If you want to come meet the team in person – there’s a daytime community event open to all on December 1st at The Leeds Corn Exchange.
